  • CRAFTING SELFHOOD @ 3.1 PHILLIP LIM

    CRAFTING SELFHOOD EXHIBITION

    📍 NYC • MAY 1-23 • 48 Great Jones Street NYC 10012 • Daily 12-6pm

Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month, 3.1 Phillip Lim and the Female Design Council present Crafting Selfhood, an exhibition of Asian American female identifying artists and designers from May 1st - 23rd.

Curated by Karen Wong and Lora Appleton, the exhibition assembles a myriad of stunning ceramics and sculptural objects on display at the 3.1 Phillip Lim flagship at 48 Great Jones Street. These artists integrate heritage, identity, and, oftentimes, sly humor into the work.

    Featured artists include:
Janny Baek, Julia Chiang, Cecile Chong, Phaan Howng, Lena Imamura, Sonya Yong James, Myung Jin Kim, Antonia Kuo, Eunji Jun and Halin Lee, Eny Lee Parker, Linda Sormin & Steffany Trần.

Crafting Selfhood is presented in partnership with Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur, Meta Prosper, and the Female Design Council.
